My young spunky German Shepherd Liesl spent 2 weeks with Laurie at Off Leash K9/ Milwaukee. We really enjoyed sharing what she was learning through the videos, pix and daily report cards. Liesl quickly showed accomplishments in her training. She really seemed to enjoy the routines, and enjoyed interactions with her trainer. Liesl is home now, still spunky but shows a marked improvement in following commands and in her ability to calm in excited situations. She loves to heel and its a pleasure to walk with her. We enrolled our 2.5-year-old corgi, Bambino, in the hybrid training program with Laurie at Off Leash K9, and it was one of the best decisions we've ever made.

The Challenge:
Before training, Bambino struggled with significant anxiety and aggression. Walks were stressful, and his reactivity made it difficult for him to listen or focus, leaving us feeling unequipped to help him.

The Hybrid Process (Which We Loved):
The process started with three in-person sessions where Laurie worked with both us and Bambino. This was crucial, it allowed Bambino to build trust with Laurie and gave us a set of foundational commands to practice. After these three meetings he began his two-week board-and-train bootcamp.

The Results:
Laurie didn't just train Bambino; she equipped our entire family with a toolbox of commands and techniques to manage his anxiety and aggression. The difference is night and day. We now have the skills and confidence to guide him calmly through situations that would have previously overwhelmed him.

The Best Part: The Daily Updates!
During his bootcamp, we received a detailed report card with photos and videos every single evening. We looked forward to it all day! It was incredible to see his progress, and we’d even joke that he was off on grand daily adventures, living his absolute best life.

Ongoing Support:
The support didn’t end at graduation. We received comprehensive follow-up materials and videos, and Laurie has made it clear she is always available for questions.

I picked up Bailey from her two-week training program, and I can see such a difference! She is more focused when it comes to following through with commands. I had Laurie as a trainer for Bailey and she was great, I felt supported every step of the way. I loved getting the daily report cards and videos- they really kept me in the loop and gave me so much peace of mind while she was away. Bailey is still sweet and playful but now listens much better, I feel confident continuing her training at home. I also really appreciate that they are just a text away if I were to have any questions even if she's already home. Can't recommend Laurie and this program enough!

We sent our mini dachshund puppy for a two-week board-and-train program. She needed basic training, and, as with most dachshunds, loves to "sing the song of her people." Laurie not only trained her amazingly well but also worked with us until we understood how to continue her training. Laurie made it clear we could always contact her with questions or issues.
